Gold sandstone is a form of glittering glass made by melting silica, copper oxide and other metal oxides to reduce the ions to elemental copper. The vat is then sealed off com,pletely from air allowing crystals to form. Although not a naturally formed stone, sandstone is still beautiful enough to sit next to the most stunning of semi precious. Approximately 80cm strand.
