Marc Bohan designed this stunning pink Christian Dior sleeveless evening gown for the Dior Fall/Winter 1971 haute couture collection. We are showing an image of it on the runway and a version of the dress worn by Grace Kelly. Both of those show the dress with a matching wrap, which we do not have.

We are obsessed with this rich, saturated shade of pink and the luxe silk gazar fabric has a beautiful subtle texture. Marc Bohan was interviewed right before this collection was shown and we feel that this quote exemplifies his design philosophy so well;

"Things must look simple, but they must not look poor. What I’m trying to do is create luxury, quality., by taste,by simplicity. Something very refined, very elegant, not showy at all. That is true elegance and so few understand it." Marc Bohan

Condition: Overall Very good (almost excellent) condition with VERY minor discoloration right at the seam under the arms. Only noticeable when held under a light. Some loose threads
